You-Know-Who is once again at
large!
Aritcle By Rita Skeeter

We all have heard rumors up to this point of supposed "attacks" led on by you-know-who, but, up until recently, there has been no solid evidence to support these statements.

However, things took a sudden turn in the other direction on the first of December. It seemed oridinary Wednesday, but, once night had fallen, some extraordinary events took place.

The Dark Lord took it upon himself to personally visit the headquarters for the Order of the Phoenix (a formally secret society, for more details, see page 2) and launch several terrifying suprise attacks.

"We were all very terrified," said Keele Zeibel, a seventh year student at Hogwarts, and a member of the Order. "None of use knew what was happening, really, until it was already over with."

The attacks began at an unknown time when he who must not be named simply strolled into the hideout, bringing along with him a girl who we will call "Miryanna". Miryanna was brought back to them in a semi-conscious state, and thrown down to the ground in front of many witnesses. She had been severly tortured, as well as beaten and attacked by both you-know-who himself, as well as a few of his most trusted Death Eaters. It seems that Miryanna had been sent by the Order to join ranks with the Death Eaters. He claims to have known "right from the start" that she was a spy, and that he had only allowed her to live to "set an example" to the rest of the Order.

Miryanna was immediately taken to the hospital wing, where she is currently being treated. She was unavailable for comment.

As horrible as this all seems, the attacks did not stop there. After he dropped the poor girl off at the Order's headquarters, he took it upon himself to visit the Three Broomsticks, where a group of about three students were happily chatting and drinking butterbeer. He approached them quickly, and captured Linda Smith, a seventh-year student at Hogwarts.

"I didn't know what was going on!" Linda is quoted as saying. "One minute, we were just talking, and the next, you-know-who was standing beside me!" (see page 2 for a full account of Linda's story)

Linda was held captive for approximately three days.

I did not manage to get ahold of the Dark Lord for coment, but I did, however, happen across one of his most trusted Death Eaters. When asked to comment on the night's events, she replied, "What a grand night! Now get the hell away from me or else-" at which point I decided to get away as quickly as possible.

Perhaps the most tragic of all, was the fact that there were no students around to help the two girls. As one student, Jaden Anya, has said, "Sorry I was not there, but if I was, I would have helped!" I think this about sums up the feelings of most the Order members who were absent that evening.

A Killing in the Order
Article by Linda Smith

To add to the most recent attacks conspired by he who must not be named, last night, the Dark Lord returned once again to the Order's headquarters to kill a certain Christina Davies (alias Vicky Black). His mission was, most unfortunately, a success.

Poor Christina (once a loyal Death Eater who eventually became a spy for the Order) was tortured, insulted, and then killed in a most inappropriate fashion. She was attacked by both you-know-who and a servant of his named Micheal. (We have reason to believe that this man is none other than Macnair....) Neither was available for comment.

Dark Skies and Darker Marks
Article by Robert Gunning

At approximately 8:27 p.m. last night, the students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry were just returning from their evening meals to a rather unsafe Hogwarts. Students and teachers alike were startled at unsettled by the fearful presense of the dreaded Dark Mark hovering above the school's Quidditch pitch. Eye witnesses describe the incident as both terrifying and surreal. I spoke with one of the students who had suffered a severe shock by the Mark. Frederick Trimble, a first-year Gryffindor, describes the horrific scene.

"I was walking back from Herbology class when I noticed someone on the Quidditch pitchs," he said. "He was holding his wand high in the air and casting the Mark. I tried to follow him as he walked into the (Forbidden) Forest, but...but...I can't remember."

The twelve-year-old was unable to continue with his story, due to the high levels of emotion and distress that the incident had caused him.

The Ministry refuses to release any information on the appearance of the Mark, and the safety of the school is now being questioned. The question lingering on everybody's minds now is: Is Hogwarts safe?
